An information event will help launch the new £14 million Pudsey Sixth Form College this week.
The event is being held at Pudsey Civic Hall on Thursday, 23 January at 7pm and will showcase what the new college has to offer.
A spokesperson said: “At Pudsey Sixth Form College, our learning experience reflects your future. Whether you have ambitions of going to university, starting a career, or have yet to decide, our courses provide you with lived experience and room to find your calling.
“To launch our new Sixth Form we will be holding an information evening at Pudsey Civic Hall. Come along to our event to get to know our courses, tutors and how we could be the next step in your education success.
“You can meet a like-minded community, find out what support is available to help you access sixth form college and get a feel of what studying with us will be like.”
Construction work at the site, off Kent Road, is continuing and the college is due to open in September.
The new building will cater for 600 higher education students studying A-Levels, vocational courses, and GCSEs. It will provide much-needed sixth form space for the increasing number of 16 to 18-year-olds in Leeds.
The event will have presentations at 5pm and 6pm followed by an opportunity to find out more information and apply for Pudsey Sixth Form College on the night. Free tickets for the event can be found here.
