Hookers and Clickers – a group of women knitting and crocheting for various charities – made Easter egg covers to raise funds for the Ukraine appeal at Trinity Methodist Church in Bramley.

Cadbury Cream Eggs were kindly donated by Morrison’s supermarket.

An incredible total of £600 was raised, including donations from the sales of cakes and a tea/coffee morning.

Novice hooker Fran Russell started her crochet journey – with a basic chain developing into a worry worm.

Hookers and Clickers have been making items for Armley yarn bombing, Ukraine and many other charities.

Find them on Facebook if you are interested in joining the group, which meets regularly at Butlers at Kirkstall Forge. E-mail them on hookersandclickers@gmail.com.
