Could you help support an after-school club and youth group at Swinnow Community Centre?
Volunteers are being sought to help the centre expand its support to more young people in the Swinnow area.
Yvonne Allman, from Swinnow Community Centre, said:
“We are wanting to reduce the age group to year five (ages nine to 16 year old) at our Friday Youth Club. We need your help to be able to do this. If you can spare a couple of hours alternative Fridays please call 0113 256 6576 or call in to the centre
“We are also wanting to do a 3.30 to 4.30pm slot for six to eight year olds – but we need your help with this too. This would also be alternative Fridays. Thank you.”
The centre is also looking for help to run a Saturday afternoon group alternative weeks. The group would feature activities such as cinema, arts and games.
