Detailed plans for eight new houses in Pudsey have been given the green light by Leeds City Council planners.
Developer General Contractors (Leeds) received permission in principal to build housing on the site to the north of Gibraltar Road in 2019 and last week received planning permission for the detailed plans, which included design of the properties and layout.
The plans had attracted six letters of objection, with concerns including a loss of greenspace and privacy.
But a council cil planning officer’s report added: “The proposed development is considered to be acceptable in terms the principle of development, character and appearance and impacts on living conditions and the free and safe use of the highway.”
The plans and associated report can be read in full here.
