Fulneck Moravian Museum opens for 2026 season

By Damon Sugden

Spring is here and with it the return of one of Pudsey’s most fascinating hidden gems.

The museum will be open every Wednesday and Saturday from 8 April to 30 September, from 1.30pm until 4pm.

It will welcome visitors to discover the story of Fulneck, from its early beginnings in the 18th century to its influence on education, music and international missionary work.

Then and now – outside Fulneck Museum.

Inside the museum you’ll find fascinating artefacts, historic displays and stories that bring to life the people who shaped this unique settlement overlooking the valley.

Whether you are interested in local history, architecture, or simply looking for something different to explore on a summer afternoon, Fulneck offers a warm welcome.

The museum is run entirely by volunteers and remains a much-loved part of Pudsey’s heritage.

Group settlement tours are also available and are extremely popular with local organisations, history groups and visitors from further afield. These guided walks reveal the hidden history of Fulneck and the remarkable story of the Moravian Church.

For enquiries or to arrange a group visit, contact Helen at: fulneckmuseumtours@gmail.com.
