Council chiefs have given the green light for important improvement works to take place at five West Leeds schools this summer.
Works range from fire safety improvements, through to roofing works and wall, window and door replacements. Schools featured come from Armley, Bramley, Kirkstall, Rodley and Pudsey.
The full list includes:
- £294,365.10 for Chippendale Builders Ltd to carry out fire safety works at Greenside Primary School in Pudsey.
- £163,420 for roofing works at Kirkstall Valley Primary School.
- Kingfisher UPVC Windows and Doors Ltd will be paid £113,275.92 to carry out external wall, windows and door replacement works at St Bartholomew’s C of E Primary School in Armley.
- Tucker and Tunstalls Ltd has won the £110,753.06 tender for roofing works at Greenhill Primary School in Bramley.
- M&J Group (Construction & Roofing) Ltd will be paid £199,711.99 to carry out roofing works at Valley View Primary School in Rodley.
