You’re very welcome to join us in our people-powered community newsroom in Bramley.
Our friendly newsroom is based at Bramley Lawn Social Centre, off Stanningley Road, and is a base for our community reporters to come and write articles and create content, as well as receive any help or support they might need.
The kettle’s always on – and we have a hugely impressive biscuit tin! We also run some of our community reporters training courses from here.

The newsroom was put together thanks to a real community effort, including the support of local volunteers and businesses.

If you’re planning on popping in, drop editor John Baron an email on news@westleedsdispatch.com before attending. We’re not always here!
We run an open newsroom session every Thursday, 4pm-6.30pm where members of the public and our community reporters can come together and pitch story ideas over a friendly cuppa. Keep you eyes peeled for news of our monthly community news cafes which we hold at venues across West Leeds.
