The Reverend Phil Arnold, Vicar of Christ Church, Upper Armley, is warmly inviting the local community to join a series of Christmas celebrations taking place throughout December across Armley’s churches.
The programme includes special services, carol singing, family activities, communions, and traditional festivities hosted by Whingate Methodist Church, Christ Church Upper Armley (Church of England), Christ the King (Roman Catholic) and Holy Family (Roman Catholic).
Highlights include:
- Advent and carol services,
- Christingle celebrations,
- A Blue Christmas service for those experiencing bereavement or difficulty,
- Pop-up nativity events,
- Christmas Eve and
- Christmas Day services and Masses.
These events aim to offer moments of reflection, joy and community spirit for people of all ages. The Rev Phil Arnold encourages residents and visitors alike to come together and celebrate the season in fellowship throughout Armley.
