Burley Top and Burley Village Community groups invite you to an end-of-summer event on Burley Village Green.
On Saturday 10 September 2016 between 12pm and 17pm there will be lots of activities and an opportunity to meet fellow Burley residents.
There will be food and stalls, inflatables, a fun dog show, a cake competition, local community groups, and a chance to meet members of the Burley Top and Burley Village groups.
The day is billed as a chance for the wide and varied community of Burley to come together and celebrate its unique nature.
The inflatables will be free of charge though there will be a cost for refreshments and the side stalls.
The event is organised by volunteers from the Burley area. More details here if you would like to volunteer and help on the day.

ADULTS CLASSES
Class A: A Classic 20cm(8”) Victoria Sponge
Class B: 5 Fruit Scones
Class C: A 15cm(6”) Custard Tart
Class D: A Chocolate Roulade
Class E: 6 Ginger Biscuits
Class F: A 20cm(8”) Celebration Cake (This is to be Fully Decorated with a theme for the First Village Fair in Burley 2016)
Class G: 4 Puff Pastry Sausage Rolls (No shop bought pastry) Class H: 1, 15cm(6”) Savoury Flan
CHILDREN’S CLASSES 5 – 10 YEARS
Class A: 3 Lemon Butterfly Buns
Class B: 3 Iced (using sweets to decorate) Fairy Cakes
Class C: 3 Chocolate Cornflake Cakes
11 – 16 YEARS
Class A: 5 Decorated Cup Cakes
Class B: 5 Jam Tarts
Class C: 5 Chocolate Brownies
All classes must be entered by 1pm on the day and the results will be announced at 4pm.
