Rodley Nature Reserve are hosting a Build a Nest Box event to mark National Nest Box week, writes Keely Bannister.
People are invited to build the boxes at the Moss Bridge Road site which they can then take home with them.

Being held on Sunday, 16 February from 11am until 2pm, the fun event is open to all, although children must be accompanied by an adult.
In keeping with the theme of St Valentine’s Day weekend on which the event is being held, the boxes will provide safe and warm homes for courting birds.
Your box could be full of baby birds securing the next generation.
The boxes are easy to build with help being given on how to construct them.
Only a limited number of bird box kits are available and they are being booked up fast. So if you are interested in taking part, you can book at the reserves visitor centre on a Wed/Sat/Sun. Alternatively you can phone 0113 2040441 or e-mail info@rodleynaturereserve.org.
The nature reserve is well signed from the A6120 Leeds Outer Ring Road and then from the A657 Rodley Town Street (follow the brown direction signs) with limited free on-site car parking available.
The venue is serviced by the 35 and 60 bus routes which both stop near the site on Rodley Town Street.
