Bramley Baths: Choir sings ‘water music’ for swimmers

A west Leeds swimming pool will become a concert hall with a difference later this week.

Prepare to be carried away by the exhilarating sound of Leeds College of Music SU Choir performing in the extraordinary acoustic setting of Bramley Baths.

Featuring special guests and up and coming soloists, the choir hopes to transport listeners from their seats overlooking the swimming pool with uplifting vocal performances and an inspiring repertoire.

The concert – called Choral Waves on Water – runs on Friday, 9 December, at 8pm.

Tickets, ranging between £2 to £15, are available on Eventbrite or from Bramley Baths reception. Call 0113 256 0949. Suitable for all ages.

Festive Harmonies

Music students from Leeds College of Music wil also be performing Festive Harmonies at Bramley Baths.

The free events include a harmonious live performance to swim along to, performed by eight classical music students. Relax and enjoy well-known carols and magical lullabies as these talented musicians fill your ears with the best-loved sounds of Christmas.

Admission is free with your swim. No advance booking needed.

The performances are on:

  • Sunday 11th December 4.30pm – 6pm
  • Tuesday 13th December 6.15pm – 7.15pm
