This week feels like a new start. The easing of lockdown, more places reopening, and the chance for a much-needed change of scenery. It’s an opportunity to look at things afresh.
So here’s the chance for you, our readers, to have your say on independent, community-led journalism in West Leeds!
For me good journalism is about being held accountable. It’s about partnerships with local groups and organisations, and also with our readers. We want to ensure WLD is run, written and shaped by people in West Leeds and truly reflects our local community.
In a few weeks – around our sixth birthday – we’re looking to make a big and hugely exciting announcement about our future plans.
