Armley Conservative Club is appealing for its members to make contact as it prepares for discussions over its future.
The club, off Armley Ridge Road, wants to make sure it’s got the right contact details for its members as it prepares to contact them with important information.
A notice posted by the club on its website reads:
“We need to contact our life members and eligible active members formally and due to the ongoing restrictions in relation to Covid-19 we will be doing this via email and in the post.
“As such we ask that you confirm either your email address or postal address as soon as possible to help to facilitate the safe delivery of the communications we will be issuing.
“Any life or eligible active members who do not contact us with up-to-date contact information will still have communications issued to the details we currently hold on file, which may be out of date if you have not notified us of your email address or if you have moved to a new house since you initially provided us with your address.
“Please contact us by e-mail on armleyconservativeclub@btconnect.com, via facebook messenger or post your details in the postbox on the Theaker Lane gate to confirm your contact details as soon as possible, please do not attempt to contact the Club via telephone.”
Armley Conservative Club was established around 1895 and was originally based at The Dennison Hall.
It later moved to The Primrose Hall and then to its present location at Farfield House off Theaker Lane/Armley Ridge Road.
It’s been closed since March last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
