Part of a former fashion shop on Stanningley Road could be transformed into apartments, if a planning application is approved.
Applicant [Mr or Ms] Jav wants to change the use of the first floor of the former Helen Sykes Fashions store from office and storage space to six apartments.
Each apartment would have one bedroom.
The empty ground floor, which housed Helen Sykes Fashions shop until its closure last year, is unaffected by the plans and remains as ‘one or two’ retail units.
The Armley shop was open for 44 years and was popular with shoppers throughout Yorkshire, including celebrities.
The plans can be viewed in full – and commented upon – here.
