The 102nd Calverley Show attracted exhibitors from all over the area, showing vegetables, fruit, flowers, baking, arts, crafts and photography.

The show was held at the village Methodist Schoolroom, with prizes presented by Calverley Horticultural Society’s president, Councillor Andrew Carter.

  • Trophy winners were: The Edward and Sheila Garnett Trophy for the most points in the show by a Calverley resident/allotment holder – Bev Smith
  • The J Aubrey Grimshaw Rose Bowl for the best individual exhibit in the Flowers and Vegetables Sections  – Malcolm Tordoff
  • The A Dixon Trophy – Richard East
  • The C.R.A.G. Rose Bowl – Bev Smith
  • The Councillor Wylde Cup – Bev Smith
  • The Dr N Hughes Cup – Malcolm Tordoff
  • The National Vegetable Society’s Medal – Malcolm Tordoff
  • The Bannister Trophy – Calverley Allotment Champion, for best Trug – Bev Smith
  • The Scott Trophy – Mandy Flatters
  • The Gibson Wells Trophy – Janice Wedgwood
  • The Paine Trophy – Neil Windsor
  • The Harper Trophy – Debbie Winder
  • The “Trustee’s Fancy” Salver – Bev Smith
  • The President’s Junior Cup – Louis Lokuciejewski-Taylor
