Armley: Church opens doors to mark First World War armistice centenary

An Armley church will be opening its doors to the community to see stained glass windows that remember the people of Armley who gave their lives in World War One.

Christ Church, in Armley Ridge Road, will open its doors tomorrow (Saturday, 10 November 2018) between 2-5pm.

Joanne Brophy, from Christ Church, is encouraging people to come and share any stories or memories of the named men.

There will also be a small poppy installation in the church.
