Work to build a 5G mast at the Airedale Cliff grassed area next to Pollard Lane has begun.
Photographer Kelvin Wakefield captured the photos and work starts on the 30 metre-high mobile phone mast near Bramley Fall Woods, which was granted planning permission last year.

There were 79 objections to the plans, and more than 30 people attended a public meeting held by the Newlay and Whitecote Residents’ Association (NAWRA).

Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure is behind the mast, which also includes six antennas, dishes and equipment cabinets.
