Three festive Pudsey businesses have been recognised in the annual Pudsey shop window display competition.
The award, part of the lead-up to Pudsey Christmas lights switch-on tomorrow (Sunday) – was judged by volunteers from the Pudsey in Bloom group.
This year’s top three businesses are:
1st – Preloved of Pudsey
Pudsey in Bloom judges said of Preloved’s window: “We loved this!”
2nd – Little Shop of Treasures
Judges said: “This window was just crammed with Christmas wares! We loved the book that was a Christmas Tree.”
3rd – Brick Mill Barbers
Judges said: “Megan is very talented and we loved the snowflakes and snowy frieze that you added!”
The winner receives a shield, with rosettes for second and third places. Previous winners include:
- 2018: Jacob Adams Hairdressing
- 2019: Preloved of Pudsey by St George’s Crypt Retail
- 2020: Jacob Adams Hairdressing
The Pudsey Christmas lights switch-on is at 6pm tomorrow (Sunday, 5 December) on Lowtown and will be followed by fireworks. There’s a raft of entertainment and a festive market beforehand – full details here.
