Police in West Leeds have issued a warning over a fraudulent text claiming to be from the NHS asking for personal and bank details.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police added that the text – telling people they were eligible for the Covid vaccine and askign them to fill out personal details. They said:
“A fraudulent text stating you can apply for a COVID-19 Vaccine is circulating. DO NOT REPLY – NEVER give your personal details or bank details to anyone.”
