A popular event organised by Rose & Brown Vintage returns to Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley on Saturday 10 and Sunday, 11 September 2022.
The Leeds Vintage Furniture & Home Fair runs from 10.30am to 4pm each day, and is set within the Old Woollen, an atmospheric space built in 1829 and disused by Sunny Bank Mills since the mid 20th century.
Rose & Brown first used the Old Woollen in 2018 when it still had the old flagstone floor and was surrounded by other derelict mill space; since then Sunny Bank Mills have invested in concrete flooring, heating and ventilation as they regenerate the building into a specialist events space.
Organiser Caroline Brown, from Rose & Brown Vintage, said: “The fair brings together 25 stalls devoted to vintage for the home. Genuine vintage pieces add such individuality to a home, and whether it’s a key piece of furniture or those smaller finishing touches, this fair offers a chance to find them.
“The Leeds Vintage Furniture & Home Fair offers a true variety of vintage eras and styles – whether you love Art Deco or mid-century, industrial and salvage or rustic and reclaimed, the traders will be bringing a bit of everything. From seating to storage, artwork to ceramics, textiles to lighting and even decorative salvage and French antiques, the fair will be full of one-off finds for you to fall in love with.
“We’re thinking of immaculate Ercol chairs, rustic farmhouse tables, industrial lighting and Victorian wooden trunks made beautiful with the patina of time.”
“The Old Woollen still has many evocative signs of the building’s past history so it makes an ideal, atmospheric venue for exhibiting vintage furniture and homewares which contain their own stories.”
Entry to the fair is £2 on the door or book in advance through the roseandbrownvintage.co.uk website. Under 16s are free.
