“Vandalism will not be tolerated” – Farsley Celtic issue appeal as arsonists strike

Farsley Celtic have issued an appeal for information after mindless vandals targeted their ground.

The club, which is run on a volunteer basis and supports more than 300 children each week, have had to bring in the police after a number of incidents in recent weeks. The most recent incident last Friday (21 October 2022) saw a seat one of the team dugouts set on fire.

Farsley Celtic CEO Josh Greaves said in a statement: “Unfortunately, we have been subjected to vandalism and trespassing over recent weeks, and this was the case once again on Friday.

“As a community club, we have 300+ children using our facilities every week. These actions will not be tolerated and the police are now involved.

“Should anyone notice anything untoward going forward, you are encouraged to call 101.”
