Armley Junktion cafe is bringing people together to create something positive by the community, for the community tomorrow (Sunday).
A whole day of food, fun, music and stalls beckons at the cafe, which is part of the Real Junk Food network of cafes serving meals made with ‘intercepted’ ingredients that were destined for landfill. You simply add up your own bill and ‘pay as you feel’ or are able to afford.
Activities include
- #payasyoufeel food boutique and reasonably priced Bric-a-brac from Armley Junk-tion
- #payasyoufeel massage yoga
- Not Too Shabby upcycling crafts
- GMB Civic Union
- Blue Pepper Catering – hog roast!
There will also be music from Mik Artistik’s Ego Trip, Rodina, Dave Lynch, Alice Nicholls, Nida and Tree.
Organisers say:
“It looks set to be a fun filled, family day out. Please spread the word and join us!”
The event – which was originally scheduled for last month but was cancelled due to bad weather – runs from noon on Sunday, August 23, through to 10pm at Armley Junktion on Chapel Lane, Armley. Check out the Facebook event page.
