Stanningley Road: Derelict industrial units may be demolished

Derelict industrial buildings off Stanningley Road could be demolished and replaced with eight new units, if plans get the go ahead.

Swinnow Grange Mills is a series of former Victorian mill buildings housing small to medium-sized businesses.

Its owners – Bramley-based Andromeda Investments 2 – are aiming to re-invigorate the area by demolishing the disused buildings and shed on the south side of the site and replacing them with new two storey starter units, along with new access gates to the site.

Each new unit would be 135 square metres on size. An existing central car park on the site will be formalised with new surfacing and marked bays.

The plans can be viewed in full – and commented upon – here.
