Businesses in West Leeds are being sought to sponsor the annual Bramley Park bonfire next month.
Six free community bonfires will be held by Leeds City Council this November at Roundhay Park, Middleton Park, Springhead Park in Rothwell, along with Woodhouse Moor, East End Park and Bramley Park, which attract approximately 200,000 visitors every year in total.
This year the public bonfires to mark Bonfire Night will be taking place on Friday 4 November.
Sponsorship has been secured for the bonfires at Roundhay Park, Middleton Park and Springhead Park, amd businesses can now support their local community and enjoy a range of promotional and advertising opportunities by sponsoring events in Woodhouse, East End Park and Bramley.
Councillor Lucinda Yeadon, Leeds City Council’s executive member for the environment and sustainability, said:
“Every year we offer community-minded businesses the opportunity to support their local bonfires by sponsoring an event and I am delighted to say that the response so far has been really positive.
“We would be delighted to speak to other businesses regarding how they can support the bonfires in other areas of the city.
“We offer a wide range of sponsorship packages to suit the individual needs of businesses. With all of our events extremely well attended, sponsoring one of our bonfires is a great and easy way for your business to support one of the stand-out nights in the city’s calendar.”
