Rodley Nature Reserve has announced it is re-opening its gates to visitors later this month.
Following the recent Government Roadmap guidance, the Reserve will re-open to the public on a restricted basis from Wednesday, 31 March 2021.
It will re-open Wednesday and Saturday from 1pm until 5pm.
The Reserve, which is run entirely by volunteers, has announced that the visitor centre, viewing hides and pond dipping will not be available, but toilets, car park and viewing screens will be open.
A Rodley Nature Reserve Trust spokesperson said visitors must continue to observe government advice on social distancing and wearing a face mask where social distancing is difficult. The spokesperson added:
“The safety of our visitors and volunteers remains paramount and the Trust will keep the situation under continuous review and should the situation change it may be necessary to consider further appropriate measures.
“We ask our visitors to be considerate and allow each other the time and space to enjoy the Reserve.”
I believe you mean the Reserve opens from Wednesday 31 March, as the notice on their Facebook page says.
Hi Norma, we do indeed mean the 31st March. Thanks for spotting and our apologies for any confusion caused.
