Dear sir,-
My mum’s name is Kathleen Lee and she’s looking for her childhood friend Janet Blocksage. They met in Blackpool when they were both on holiday with their parents when they were 15 years old so this would roughly be 1963.
My mum was from Haughton Green and Janet Blocksage lived on Valley Road in Pudsey.
They were pen pals and my mum used to go and visit her for weekends and also went on holiday with Janet and her parents to Bridlington.
Janet’s dad used to play the piano in the pub at the top of Valley Road. They kept in touch for about 18 months then Janet stopped answering my mum’s letters. My mum has often thought about Janet and has always said she would like to find her.
