It’s been a busy weekend in Pudsey – the sort of busy weekend you need more than two days for!
Saturday’s annual Pudsey Summer Show has been a fixture in the town for 93 years, showcasing amazing veg, wonderful fruit and dazzling floral displays in abundance. Cakes and crafts were also on display. Check out this post via Humbugshouse blog for more photos and a report from the big day.
And yesterday saw hundreds of people take advantage of the glorious weather to take part in Pudsey Fun Day, which featured a host of activities across the town and in the park. The day was organised by Pudsey Business Forum.
Pudsey resident Kirsty Marston said of fun day:
“I took my kids, they had a great time. I thought it was a great effort all round! It was nice to see so many people turn up.”
And Barbara Thomas added:
“It really was a credit to the people who organised it! It looked great in the park to see it full of adults and children! Congratulations to all concerned. Whoever organised the weather, please can we have some more of these sunny days!”
