Motorists are being warned that busy Pudsey Road is to be resurfaced between Hough Tree Road and Ridge View, including the Pudsey Road / Hough Tree Road junction.
Highway resurfacing work is due to start on Monday, 19 April, and last for two weeks on the stretch of road just up from Wickes.
The working hours will be Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm – between the peak commuter traffic hours.
A Leeds City Council highways spokesperson said:
“In order to undertake these works safely the road will be closed during these working hours. We will open up the Pudsey Road / Hough Tree Road junction when possible to allow greater access and hopefully reduce some disruption.
“Metro and bus operators have been informed and we shall be having further discussions to see how we can assist.Adjacent residents will be informed by letter later this week.”
The information was first shared on Pudsey councillor Simon Seary’s Facebook page.
