Children and staff at Busy Bees Pudsey Lowtown Nursery are celebrating after receiving an ‘outstanding’ rating by Ofsted inspectors.
The inspection said that the children “thrive at this highly inviting and stimulating setting” and “develop close attachments to the caring and nurturing staff team”.
The nursery was classed as ‘outstanding’ in all areas, and it was also noted that children “acquire exceptional skills ready to move to school”.
The report, which follows an inspection on 27 April 2022, praised the nursery’s partnership with parents, with parents commenting how well the dedicated staff support children to exceed in their development.
Nursery staff were also recognised for following children’s interest in their play and that the “children show excellent levels of confidence and remain deeply engaged in their learning”. The staff were also recognised for introducing “mindfulness activities to children and support them to manage their feelings”.
Child development was also given a special mention as Ofsted highlighted that the “children benefit from a highly ambitious curriculum that helps them to develop superb communication and language skills”. The nursery was also praised for being “highly inclusive” stating that “children with special education needs excel in their development”.
