Missing: John Steward frequents the Pudsey and Farsley areas.

UPDATE: John Steward has been found safe and well, police have announced.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a missing 85-year-old man known to frequent the Pudsey and Farsley areas.

John Steward, from Adel, was an inpatient at St James’s Hospital and he has dementia and is partially deaf and blind. He has been missing since 1.20pm yesterday (Wednesday, 21 September).

He was seen on CCTV in Pudsey Bus Station yesterday and was last sighted at 7.49pm on Lidget Hill, Pudsey.

Mr Steward is 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, with white hair. He was wearing black glasses, a dark brown coat and a black and white shirt.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.
