Police are appealing for information after two horses were attacked by suspects with a knife in Farnley.
The horses were repeatedly slashed in their paddock on Hall Lane, Farnley, between 10pm on Friday July 15 and 10am on Saturday, July 16.
Posters appealing for people to come forward with information have been put up in Farnley and the appeal for help was circulated on Facebook by UK Animal Cruelty Files, which posted:
“The nature of the wounds suggests that the intention was to kill the animals. One was found with a lace tied around her neck.”
