A walkthrough NHS Test and Trace facility has been put in place at Pudsey Civic Hall.
The facility comes following pressure from Pudsey MP Stuart Andrew, who told WLD:
“I am very pleased that an NHS Test and Trace facility has been put in place at Pudsey Civic Hall as I wanted the very best service for my constituents and to ensure they are able to access testing should they encounter any COVID-19 symptoms.
“It is an extremely worrying time in numerous ways but I do hope this new walkthrough facility helps as we head into winter.”
Mr Andrew’s comments were echoed by Calverley & Farsley councillor Andrew Carter. He added:
“Lord Bethell, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Innovation, informed us that an NHS test and trace facility has been put in place at Pudsey Civic Hall. The site forms part of an expansion for more walkthrough test sites across the UK.
“I am delighted our MP Stuart Andrew has been successful in pushing for this. It’s very concerning that Covid cases around Pudsey, Calverley, and Farsley have risen so much.”
