Pudsey residents are being invited to the unveiling of two specially commissioned memorial benches at Pudsey Cenotaph later this month.
The project is the idea of two British Legion members and Pudsey residents, Steve Sanderson and Malcolm Booth, and has been funded by Pudsey Freemasons.
The Pudsey & Farsley Royal British Legion branch is hosting the unveiling of the two benches on Saturday, October 21 at 11am.
A short service at the cenotaph will be attended by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Yorkshire, Stan Hardy, and the Freemasons Provincial Grand Master of Yorkshire and the West Riding, James Newman.
Youngsters from Greenside School choir will perform, along with the 2387 Squadron Air Cadets band. All welcome to attend.
