A new website which aims to digitally archive and celebrate Armley’s past, present and future has been launched today.
The site, launched by Graft Collaborative CIC, features all things Armley and gives readers the chance to explore and learn about local people, places, history and community.
James Gray, Co-Founder of Graft Collaborative, said:
“Lockdown inspired me to help my community feel less alone. I love Armley and am proud to call it home. I am so happy to be able to share this pride with other residents in the area…”
The site is part of the Playground: Exploring Armley project, which started as a way of entertaining the community during the first Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.
