On a damp and drizzly Saturday morning earlier this month, I decided to go to the Bramley parkrun for the very first time. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was made to feel very welcome.
I’m not much of a runner but I heard that you can walk around the course, so that’s exactly what I did.
I couldn’t believe the amount of support that you get, I didn’t really expect that. Every corner there are volunteers cheering you on and making sure that everyone is safe.
The runners are very supportive to each other, and also to the walkers.
If anyone is thinking about having a nice run/walk on a spring Saturday morning, I would highly recommend it.
