Murder charge after Farnley pub assault death

Detectives investigating a serious assault at The Butterbowl Pub in Farnley on 5 May have charged a man with murder.  

Nathaniel Philip, 35, of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder after the assault at the pub in Butterbowl Drive in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

He is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court this morning (7 May.)

  1. Shocking news. This pub is cursed, there was another death, Christopher Wade, near to it in 2015 I recall.
