A new and innovative scheme between the Bramley Care Bears and Morrisons supermarket at Kirkstall will help feed more families in need within the Bramley area.
Shoppers can purchase e-tokens in values of £1, £3 and £5 and the total raised at the end
of the month with be boosted by 10% by the caring supermarket.
The money will go towards buying food for the much-needed food bank at Broadlea Community Centre. The food bank runs Fridays and Sundays, 11am-12pm. More information on 07805 225270.
The scheme also involved St Andrew’s Food Project and Homeless Street Angels.
