With New Year resolutions still fresh in many of our minds, the theme of how we might improve our mental health and wellbeing is being taken up at Kirkstall Abbey this January.
Mindfulness asks us to be in the present with meditation and awareness. Leading on from the success of October’s Mindfulness Festival, January sees the restart of mindfulness sessions in the Abbey, every second Tuesday of the month.
Steve Hart from Leeds Mindfulness, Wellbeing & Spirituality Centre will lead the first 2023 session on Tuesday 10 January 2pm with a focus on Self Care, Self Esteem & Self Compassion.
The next dates are on 21 February and 21 March.
Sessions consist of two led meditation practises and a short presentation. The venue is the Rose Room in the Abbey Visitor Centre and there is no need to pre-book. This is a Pay As You Feel event accessible for everyone, with no pressure.
More information about Steve’s work is available here.
