Manning Stainton has provided budding athletes at a West Leeds junior school with a smart new kit.
The Wortley branch of the estate agent has sponsored the distinctive green and white strip at Lower Wortley Primary School, one of the leading sporting schools in West Leeds, as part of its Community Support Programme.
Andrew Rowney, assistant headteacher and PE leader at the school, said:
“The shirts include the motto ‘Enthusiasm breeds excellence’, which is a philosophy we all strongly believe in.
‘The results of our sports teams are a reflection of the hard work and commitment of pupils and staff and, thanks to Manning Stainton, these new kits will enable us to make even greater progress, proud of how we are looking and performing!”
Ashleigh Naylor, a sales negotiator at the Manning Stainton branch on Lower Wortley Road, said:
“Encouraging people to participate in sport is extremely important which is why we are so keen to get involved with these kind of initiatives.”
The company has also used its Community Support Programme to help other groups in the area, including West Leeds Juniors u7s and Farnley Football Club.
