Ever wondered what’s happened in your garden during the night when the sun goes down?
Whether your garden is fenced off to the rest of the world or not, animals have no boundaries. All they want to do is explore and hunt.
Everything from foxes, hedgehogs and cats will appear. Fox parents might use your garden as a crèche while they go hunting elsewhere. Hedgehogs hunting for insects or seeds wherever they can. Whether you want animals in your space or not they will be there. So don’t harm them, help them.

If you like watching birds buy a bird table, window feeder or hanging feeders. Want to help out with hedgehogs?
Create little dens, put out a bowl of water and hedgehog specific food. Even putting small piles of sticks out help hedghogs too, as it encourages insects to take shelter which they feed on.
Always work with nature, if you can not support nature maybe a neighbour can. You could gift some seeds, feeders, or even dens to help them – every little helps. Just remember to keep the feeders clean to prevent the spread of bird flu.

If you are aware of having rats, mice and other unwanted animals in your garden and you want to get rid of them just remember the other animals around.
If you put out traps or even poison just make sure the other animals will not be affected.
Other alternatives to deter the unwanted creatures, such as cats, is to put reflective items such as marbles in your garden, and Silent Roar Lion manure can be used in a similar manner. However trying to deter cats you might then invite rodents back to your gardens by removing their natural hunters.
