Armley will remember those who lost their lives in war at this year’s Remembrance service, to be held on Sunday, 10 November at the war memorial in Armley Park.

A small organising group has been working on the content and order of service since November last year, chiefly consisting of brothers Michael and Jonathan Schofield, assisted by local resident Richard Banks and Armley councillor Andy Parnham.

The working group have enlisted Keith Fraser-Smith to conduct a traditional Church of England service. Michael has also secured the Leeds University Student Union Band to provide music at the service.
