Police have issued a warning after a Kirkstall 83-year-old had credit cards, cash and a wallet stolen after a thief knocked at the door asking to borrow sugar.
A man approached the home of an 83 year old on Eden Crescent on July 27, between 3.35-3.40pm, asking for two cups of sugar.
The man then informed the occupant that his dog had run into the house.
While searching for the dog the unknown male stole the the occupant’s wallet, cash and bank cards.
