Sunday night saw the biggest assembly of Kirkstall Avenue Carollers yet, and likewise the largest amount raised for a good cause.
We ranged over the local area and performed to appreciative audiences throughout, who gave most generously to the local charity, Armley Helping Hands.
In total we collected £225 during the evening, ably assisted, as we were, by John and Mary Battle on collecting net.
We feel that we have perhaps been able to share a little Christmas warmth at a time when it seems most needed. To judge by the enthusiastic response of one little dancer, we may have succeeded…
Thanks to all who participated, watched and listened and made this a thoroughly festive event!
And it didn’t rain…
