Want to get more involved in telling the story of your community? Now’s your chance to start 2019 with a bang and get involved with the West Leeds Dispatch!
We’re holding another of our friendly and informal community news cafes on Friday (January 4, 2019) in Bramley District Centre’s Costa Coffee between 4pm-5.30pm.
If you have a story to tell about your community, want to report on a group you’re a member of, or want to join our growing band of friendly volunteer contributors then pop along! We’d love to see you.
Editor John Baron said the Dispatch was currently run entirely by volunteers who give up their spare time to ensure our communities are better connected. He said:
“Our news cafes are friendly and relaxed and are your chance to tell us what sort of stories or issues you’d like covering and perhaps get involved yourself – it’s easier than you think!
“These are exciting times to be part of The Dispatch – and this is an ideal opportunity to join our growing band of community volunteers.”
