The New Wortley Wombles group is inviting local residents to join their latest litter pick – and help take a pride in the community at the same time.
The Wombles – a group of community-spirited volunteers – aim to tackle litter on Jailey Field and meet new people at the same time.
Their latest community clear up is this Wednesday (17 August). Volunteers will be meeting outside New Wortley Community Centre at 11.30am, returning to the centre at 1pm for refreshments.
