Leeds Council planners have approved plans to refurbish the existing McDonalds restaurant at Cardigan Fields, off Kirkstall Road.
The fast food giant had applied for a single storey side extension for a new ordering booth as well as a raft of changes to the existing building.
These include new glazing and access door, with a new external wall finished with grey aluminium cladding.
Kerb lines outside the restaurant will be amended, there will be a minor reconfiguration of the car park including relocation of the grill bays, as well as associated works to the sitting area.
Similar changes have been implemented as the McDonalds on Butt Lane, in Farnley, which re-opened last week following a three-week closure.
