Gotts Park: Ideas wanted to make rose garden bloom again

Do you have ideas that might help transform the neglected rose garden in Gotts Park?

The Friends of Armley and Gotts Park group says its hoping to apply for money to improve the rose garden and wants to hear from local residents about what ideas they have to reinvigorate the area.

A Friends spokeswoman said:

“The rose garden is currently neglected and lacking in inspiration. There is a willingness from Leeds City Council and external Funders to help transform the garden but the ideas need to be directed from the local community.”

The Friends, which formed last year, is running its regular Sunday Social on September 10, 2017, from 10am at Lainey’s Tea Room at Gotts Park Golf Club. All are welcome to attend.

If you can’t make our social on Sunday leave your suggestions and ideas on the group’s Facebook page or email armleyparkfriends@gmail.com.
