The sun came out, the crowds came out and the Armley Festival was a massive success.
The event got off to a great start on a sunny Saturday afternoon when temperatures pushing 30C on Armley Moor welcomed families to a good balance of commercial and community stands with a peppering of catering stands and live entertainment.
Music came from Bonneville, Restless Youth, Living Body, Mikoudi and Mic Artistik’s Ego Trip, among others. Congratulations to everyone involved with organising this great day of entertainment as it brought the community together and produced many memorable moments.

Armley Labour Party was there to discuss local issues and promote community initiatives such as Edek’s Doodle Chat – exploring art for mental wellbeing. Tuesday afternoons at Armley Community Centre.
