Training providers in2wrk are opening a learning centre in Pudsey to deliver free English, maths and IT courses to people in the town.
From today (Monday), people in Pudsey will be able to benefit from the free training, when a new learning centre opens at Kingswood House on Richardshaw Lane.
Speaking ahead of the launch, managing director Richard Hallam said:
“We’ve been helping people in West Yorkshire for a few years now, but we can’t wait to open our new centre and start making a difference to the lives of people in Pudsey.”
In the past 12 months, in2wrk delivered almost 800 qualifications to people in West Yorkshire and helped 50% of the people who completed training with us find work, become an apprentice or continue into further education Mr Hallam said this was great news to people in Pudsey who would like to enhance their career prospects.
As well as giving people a chance to gain qualifications employers are asking for, the courses also improve people’s literacy, numeracy, digital skills and the learner’s everyday lives.
