Four arrested over death of Armley teenager as police renew information appeal – updated

Four men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Armley.

An 18-year-old man, from Huddersfield, and three men, one aged 18 and two aged 19, all from Bradford, have been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the death of the 17-year-old who was stabbed and fatally wounded in an incident at a house in Salisbury Grove, Armley, in the early hours of yesterday.

The men remain in custody and detectives from West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries into the incident.

The victim was today named as Trust Junior Jordan Gangata, known to his family and friends as TJ.

A scene remains in place around the address in Salisbury Grove to undergo forensic examination and specialist searches.

  1. No discipline at home. No discipline in schools. Kids today have no respect for themselves or others in society. Antisocial behaviour is already out of control. Parents don’t have proper time with their kids, it’s a case of out of sight, out of mind with parents these days! Adults who enjoy procreating children, when their have kids growing up, parents don’t wanna know! Knife crime is everywhere. You can’t crack your own kids anymore, children know this, so they get away with murder. National Service should never have been scrapped! It would teach kids right from wrong. What a society we live in when young thick kids carry knives thinking they’re cool.
